The Zocku Widget Store is now open

The team has been busy developing the new Zocku Widget Store which is now available in your network admin center. The Store allows you to browse and add a variety of free and paid widgets to all Zocku networks. Each widget adds additional native functionality instantly like video chat, games, visitor maps and more!

Because widgets are integrated at the platform level, rather than through Open-Social, they become true “white-label” features of a site. Their integrated nature improves the user experience to bring value and uniqueness to each site compared with typical external widget offerings which look disjointed and out of place and typically inconsistent with a network's overall look and feel.

The Widget Store works with Zocku’s advanced Layout Manager, which we launched last month. The Layout Manager allows you to drag and drop any element of your network and now allows you to place and configure your selected widgets.

The Widget Store will continue to increase the range of modules that can be dragged into your network and is the latest step in creating a flexible, rich platform for building social websites in minutes.

Every widget is different, ranging from the professional to the silly, but all are always designed to increase the engagement of your network. The widget store will be playing a central role in the future development of Zocku as the widgets grow and improve and you guys give us feedback on what widgets you would like to be developed.

The time is almost here when Zocku networks will have access to the Widget Store, a one-stop place for all the engaging features you may need to enhance, amass, and amplify your social network. The store will launch with an initial group of widgets with more ready to be released incrementally and shortly after.

• LabSlide will automatically create a slideshow from your site’s photo content.
• LabVideo will automatically rotate your site’s video content.
• LabAds will allow you to rotate and manage your ads and banners.
• LabStyle is an automated and modular style creator allowing you to customize member profile pages.
• LabGrab will allow you to share content you find on the internet instantly on your Zocku profile.
• PhotoBooth is a fun and interactive feature for your site.
• DateBait will allow members to discretely pursue a connection with other members.
• LabChat is a group chat for your site.
• WordPress Plugin will allow you to authenticate users on WordPress using a Zocku ID.
• Drupal Plugin will allow you to autheticate users on Drupal using a Zocku ID.
• F*ck or Pass will allow a member to post a picture of his or herself, while the next member chooses F or P, and so forth.
